Quito Ecuador Travel Guidebooks

The right amount of detail, well written, accurate descriptions, great maps. Has one chapter on the Galapagos.

A bit more detailed than Lonely Planet. Has one chapter on the Galapagos.

ecuaworld.com - Lots of information on traveling in Ecuador, Quito, Cotopaxi and Chimborazo, and Galapagos Islands, including accommodation and a complete list of the Galapagos Islands cruise boats.

Google Earth - zoom in on Quito Ecuador, look around, and get a sort-of visual perspective on what you can see. Great fun.
Nasa - has some good photos of Quito Ecuador. Check out ISS014-E-14896.
