16 03 Plane Ready To Descend Lukla Airstrip With Karyolung, Lukla, And Nupla A few minutes later the weary but happy trekkers jumped into the airplane and off they went back to Kathmandu. Nupla is in the background. I watched the planes landing and taking off while I waited until after 11am for my flight to Kathmandu, The weather was mostly cloudy, so I didnít have very good mountain views. After the quick 30 minute flight, we landed in the 30C weather of Kathmandu. The airline offices were closed for yet another festival, so I had to call home to reschedule my flight for the next day.
